Indigo · The creative streamlining self-audit

You are not behind. You are in progress.

Five gentle questions about what you are building, what you are using, where you are showing up, what you are learning, and what feels heavy. Answer them honestly and you get back one prompt that names the thing to put down first.

Nothing is saved and nothing is sent. Your answers stay in your browser.

The problem is not that you are doing too little.

Most days it is the opposite. You are doing too much, in too many places, with too many tools, and nothing has been put down in a long while.

Every one of those things arrived for a good reason. The platform you joined because that is where your people were. The course you bought because the gap was real. The tool that genuinely does solve the problem it solves. None of it was a mistake, and that is exactly why none of it ever gets dropped.

So the work is not finding more discipline. It is getting an honest look at what you are carrying, and permission to set one thing down.

Five questions. The fifth one is different.

Four of them ask what you are carrying. Watch the count climb, and notice how ordinary every single entry looks on its own.

  1. Current projects and offers

What are you working on or offering right now?

  2. Tools and software

List the tools and platforms you're actively using

  3. Platforms and communities

Where are you showing up online?

  4. Courses and classes

What are you currently learning or studying?

  5. What feels heavy

What's weighing on you or taking too much energy?

Your prompt

Answer the five, and one prompt comes back

What comes back

The prompt asks your assistant to act as a Soft Productivity Coach: gentle enough to support creatives with ADHD or those recovering from trauma, strategic enough to guide you toward results that lead to legacy. Then it does four things, in order.

Step 01

It asks three questions

Not the five you just answered. Three more, aimed at finding where you are actually overextended rather than where you assume you are.

Step 02

It reframes what you wrote

The same situation, described back to you calmly, so you can look at it without the flinch that usually comes with the list.

Step 03

It names one thing to streamline

One. Practical, specific, and chosen from what you actually said, not a generic tip about batching your content.

Step 04

It closes with an affirmation

Because an audit that ends on a list of your failings is just a different kind of heavy.

Nothing is saved. Nothing is sent.

Your answers stay in your browser and go nowhere else. There is no account holding a record of your worst week, and no database with your tool stack in it.

That matters here more than it usually does, because the fifth question only works if you can afford to answer it honestly.

Do it once for clarity. Do it monthly for the record.

One pass gives you a straight answer about what to streamline first. Run it again each month and something else happens: each snapshot becomes a record of how you have actually grown.

The lists get shorter. The heavy question gets easier to answer. That is the part nobody tells you is measurable.

Take an honest look.

It takes about five minutes, and you are allowed to be exactly where you are when you start.
