Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

EPIC AI Agency (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates epicai.agency. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. We keep things minimal by design.

1. Information We Collect

Visitor analytics. When you visit our site we collect anonymous usage data: pages viewed, time on page, traffic source (search, social, direct), approximate country, browser type, and device type. This data is tied to a randomly generated anonymous identifier — not to your name or email. We use this to understand how people find and use our content.

Contact form submissions. If you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.

Email newsletter sign-ups. If you subscribe to any of our newsletters or communities, we collect your email address and, if provided, your first name. We use this to send you content you opted into.

Purchase information. Paid products are not on sale at the moment, so this site takes no payment and collects no payment details. For purchases made before the pause, payment was processed by Shopify Payments, with EPIC AI Agency as the seller and merchant of record. We never saw or stored your payment card details; those were handled entirely by Shopify Payments. We retain only the order metadata we need to keep giving you what you bought: your email address, the product purchased, and the transaction amount.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To deliver content and products you have purchased or requested
  • To respond to enquiries submitted through our contact form
  • To send newsletters or community updates you have opted into
  • To understand how visitors engage with our site so we can improve it
  • To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

3. Cookies and Tracking

We use first-party cookies only — no advertising cookies, no third-party tracking pixels. The cookies we set are:

CookiePurposeLifetime
bb_vidAnonymous visitor identifier — a randomly generated ID used to recognise returning visitors and link page views together. Contains no personal information.1 year
bb_segmentStores a visitor segment label (e.g. “new”, “returning”) so the site can show relevant content without a database lookup on every request.1 year
bb_sessionSession flag used to count distinct visits rather than individual page loads.30 minutes
bb_vcVisit count — tracks how many sessions this visitor has had so the site can personalise content for first-time vs. returning visitors.1 year

All analytics data is stored in our own database (Supabase). We do not send it to Google, Meta, or any other third-party analytics platform.

You can disable cookies in your browser settings. This will not affect your ability to browse the site or access purchased products.

4. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the site. Each has its own privacy policy:

  • Shopify — until August 2026, payment processing via Shopify Payments for purchases made before selling paused. The store account has since been closed and nothing is sent to Shopify any more, though it may still hold those historical order records under its own retention policy (shopify.com/legal/privacy)
  • Supabase — database and authentication infrastructure
  • Cloudflare — hosting and content delivery
  • Sender — email newsletter delivery. If you subscribe to our mailing list, your email address is stored with Sender (sender.net/privacy-policy)

5. Data Retention

We retain your data only for as long as it is needed. Order records are kept for legal and accounting purposes. Analytics data is stored in aggregate and does not contain personally identifiable information. You may request deletion of any personal data we hold about you at any time.

6. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including: the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; the right to object to or restrict processing; and the right to data portability.

To exercise any of these rights, or to ask a question about your data, please contact us through our contact page.

7. Children

Our services are not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
